I wasn’t feeling my strength session today so I popped on a Joe Wicks dumbbells 30 minute session and cracked on. I’m glad I did as I feel like I achieved something!
The DOMS from Sunday was still pretty bad in my calves so it was good to not have to think about what was coming next. I did some downward dog after I’d finished to help stretch them out so I’m hoping everything will ease before my next run tomorrow.
As always I did my glute exercises afterwards. Gertrude my left glute was being particularly lazy today. But clam shells, fire hydrants and bridges completed. Thank you to Hannah (insta handle @hr_runningcoach) for the recommendation on exercises. An A* for Gwendoline my right glute for effort today.
