Run bling – what do you do with yours?

I’ve come to the conclusion that there are two types of people in this world…those who hang up their race medals with pride and those who, well, just ditch them in a draw.

I fall squarely into the second camp I’m afraid. Mine are dumped in a draw to be mixed in with receipts that probably should have been thrown out before the boys were even born.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of the medals I’ve earned and I’ll wear them home from the race, but after that? Well they’ll float around downstairs for the rest of the day so that the boys can have a play and then they are deposited in the draw never to be see again. Well nearly never.

I randomly popped up a post on Instagram and Facebook with a picture of my medals on after Big asked to look at them and had quite a bit of reaction. Turns out I’m not in tbe minority, although I have to say done of the medal holders my friends have got are rather lovely.

What do you do with your medals? Do you hang them up with pride or shove them in a drawer? I’d love to see some pictures.
