100 days of happiness and me

For those of you who follow me on social media you may have seen that I’m 26 days into 100 days of happiness.

My friend started doing it again and I thought it was an amazing way of finding something positive to focus on every day. Even if I’ve had a crappy day I still need to find something positive to think about and because I do mine in the evening it’s always nice to end the day.

It doesn’t have to be anything big, sometimes I find it’s the small things that can lift the day the most, don’t you? That kind comment from someone unexpectedly, your little one coming and telling you they love you just because that’s what popped into their head at that moment, a cup of tea at just the right time.

Other times it’s the big things, the sense of achievement when you’ve done something you didn’t think you could, or when your little one does something for the first time.

I’ve popped a few of my days below. Do you fancy joining in? I think there is an official website that has an official start date but I just randomly started mine one day, because, well why not?

Day 1 … happiness is getting to a round mile, even if it does mean running up and down the road like a twonk.
Day 3…throwback Thursday when Big met the wee one for the first time.
Day 4…when Daddy makes you laugh with silly stories
Day 10…receiving my Miles for Mind medal for running 80 miles to raise awareness of impact running can have on your mental health
Day 13…playing cards with Big in the coffee shop
Day 26…drinking every last drop of ice cream, to be fair it was chocolate ice cream
